ABOUT DAYSSINCECALC

Privacy Policy

Useful, transparent information about our calculators and how this site is maintained.

Privacy Policy for DaysSinceCalc

This policy describes the DaysSinceCalc calculator plugin’s behavior and the information visitors may choose to share. The website owner should review it against the actual hosting, security, advertising and analytics setup before relying on it as a complete legal disclosure. Contact: [email protected].

Dates entered into calculators

Our date calculators are designed to compute results locally in your browser. The plugin itself does not require an account or create a server-side record of a date you enter. If you use the optional share-link feature, the dates can appear in the URL; anyone with that URL, along with services through which it is shared, may be able to read the dates. Do not share sensitive dates publicly.

Information you send via contact forms

If you choose to contact the editorial team, the form asks for your name, email address and message. These are transmitted to the site’s configured email destination so your question or correction can be reviewed. The form uses a temporary anti-spam rate limit associated with a hashed client network address. The plugin does not require this information to use the calculators.

Technical hosting and security data

Like most hosted websites, DaysSinceCalc may be served by infrastructure that processes request timestamps, IP addresses, browser information and error logs for security and operations. The retention periods and recipients depend on the web host and services actually enabled by the site owner. Do not assume that browser-local calculator math prevents a hosting provider from maintaining ordinary server logs.

Cookies, analytics and third-party content

The plugin’s date-calculator function does not itself depend on tracking cookies. WordPress, the active hosting environment, security plugins, analytics, advertising tools or embedded services may set cookies or collect data independently. If those tools are installed, the site owner must provide accurate disclosures and any required consent mechanisms.

Links to other websites

Historical timelines and references sometimes link to third-party publishers. When you follow a link, the destination’s privacy practices apply. External social profile links also lead to third-party websites.

Choices and questions

You may choose not to submit the contact form. You can close a page without saving a personal date, and you can remove shared date parameters from a URL before distributing it. For a privacy request about a message you submitted, email [email protected] with enough context to locate that correspondence.

Updates to this policy

This page may change when the site’s tools or processing practices change. The WordPress modification date may help indicate when meaningful edits were published.
